2 steps over

in this piece i tried to show 2 people taking a simple step over the canvas, it looks like giant steps but in fact it was a very small step.

I'm always interested in how figurative artists use the camera as a tool. I think you make extremely creative use of it. From what I can see here your work is not only skillfully executed but very graphically strong. The compositions are beautiful.

Dear Francien, I run into your page in the Saatchi Gallery site and then I visited you site. I was impressed by your work. Why don't you show us some more of it here? I hope to meet you at Trapani.

I'm amazed there's been no comments so far on these works Francien. They're challenging and courageous in their questioning confrontation. Impossible to ignore, and dare the observer to react in some way.
I'd very much like to hear you talk more on why you choose these giant reaching or stamping nude figures? What significance does the series have for you? And what has been your favourite reaction by the viewer? How do you see the series evolve?
I see that you have begun a new "Studio Log" entry on the site - I'm very interested to see the progression of that work.
