I Like this painting. Its got a strong Spanish feeling with the suggestion of the bullring and all the lovely red (blood). Picasso was a bull. He was always being phogrographed half naked with his giant testicals on view. Read John Bergers book on him "The Success and Failure of Picasso". I think he gets him pretty well. In any case Picassso really was a phenomenom of nature and this painting captures something of him.

Ok, something abou the San Greal!
First of all I would like to tell that San Greal painting is stolen!!
It happend on the exhibition in Pula ( CROATIA ).It was part of the group exhibition "Journey to unknown"

Art work by it sel was my thinking about mistery of Gioconda ( while I was reading Da Vinci Code, and while I was living in Paris,FR )
Maybe it is Magdalena with little Jesus son, maybe it is a mistery of Mona Lisa.I was thinking of the position of her hands ( watching my wife beeig pregnant and sitting on a chair!! ) So I decide to do the artpiece.
Camera is fake, but visualy gives impression of Big Brother while you watching blasfemic painting.
But it's only art itself.
On the exhibiton it was placed in a small gallery, only paintng was lighted, and there were 2 cameras, and the painting was glass covered ( 3 cm glass ).
More later, I had to take my daughter to the kindergarten...

Eugen.. can you tell us a little about this piece? What's with the Giaconda and foetus, and the camera? It's visually very interesting. I'd like to hear the artist's interpretation, if I may? thanks /j-p.

Well I especially like that touch of the robbery - The Mona Lisa Stolen Again!
By the way, how was it living in Paris as an artist - did you find any stimulation from the current art scene there?

About Paris...actually I didn't try to involve into art life in Paris. You need to spend a few years there to be in.Europe is slow, but forever.I had a beautiful atelier there, painted full pick up ( my car )of paintings!!
Go there, but remember, bohemian times are gone.On Montmartre there is nothing.Art become something else.

Congratulations on the birth of your son Eugen, and a big welcome to Ego. May you have a lifetime of happy times together.
(I've been away in India these past two weeks, and haven't kept up with my email - hence the delay in replying).
So if Paris wasn't much - how's the artlife where you're living now (Porec/Croatia)?
Best Regards. /j-p.
