Self- when it becomes the other. I look at it trying to find a new relationship to self

No see the same with light behin. The animated image looks vibrant. I have used oil in the paper to give me the translucensy and the opaque ness where required.

In times of modern art, and vibrant colours, it It is a treat to come across artists who are influenced by so-called "primitive" art...! The colours used, allows one to confront one's own earthly filiation. The use of 'oil' is interesting and the transluceny effect is intriguing.. like a discovery of startling moonlight through a tropical rainforest roof...!
Another interesting aspect is the use of a 'word' on the painting. Surprisingly, it does not give any impression of any message-deliberation... in fact it seems as though it was naturally seeded there in a trancing moment.. The 'Shade' and the 'Scripture' look as if they were just meant to 'be'.

I love the way the colours almost feel as if they are made from fire itself

Beautiful work or art here. I love the fact that I can see into it. The depth is amazing with only so few colors. Wonderful use of mixed media. The water color and oils together really make the piece. I would hang this in my house.
