Diary, detail

Diary painting is a registration of my thoughts and emotions I am planing to record it on 3 meters long cotton linen using only one color. The method of painting and the use of raw textile refer to the old female tradition of knitting, embroidery and needlework. I can find a pattern in every aspect of reality, there are connections to be found all around us. The world is full of repetition, connections, bonds and situations from which new repetition connections, bonds and situations spring. Nothing exists independently by itself, rather it is a set of interdependent possibilities, incidents and events. Every transition between shape, pattern and symbol is a result of my emotions caused by events in my life. It is a registration of my changing state of mind, well being and transformation. Each pattern has its own history, meaning and reference. To contemplate this painting is to travel over the canvas, creating meaning and a personal interpretation through symbols and information.
